Sourcing/Purchasing/Planning (Electronics Manufacturing)

Focus: Sourcing | Purchasing | Planning (Electronics Manufacturing)

Positions: Assistant Manager / Senior Executive / Executive / Specialist

Core Responsibilities

· Schedule all purchasing activities and monitor the materials' delivery time.

· To plan the material supply chain for production.

· Ensure no over-purchase and monitor slow-moving items.

· Interact with the suppliers on a day-to-day basis and resolve supply, quality, service, and invoicing issues with vendors.

· Analyze demand forecasts and utilize MRP systems to align material availability with production schedules.

· Evaluate the vendor's quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and

Commercial specifications required for the project.

· Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards. delivery time & best price, and ensure all criteria are met in accordance with organizational requirements and expectations.

· Assist the Purchasing Executive and the Purchasing Manager with inventory control, cost down, and report generation.

· Conducts supplier site visits in support of activities including supplier capabilities, education, negotiation, quality issue resolution, etc. Tracking supplier quality issues and working with the technical team & supplier to minimize quality issues and being actively involved in product quality improvement.

Requirements

· Candidate must possess at least a diploma, advanced/higher/graduate diploma, in any field.

• Experience: 1–5+ years (commensurate with seniority) in cable harness/module assembly
• Excellent in ERP systems & Microsoft Excel
• Preferred: Knowledge of IPC standards, ISO quality systems, or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

· Able to manage work time wisely and efficiently.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and strong negotiation skills.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
