Role Description The Electrical Field Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Johor Baharu, responsible for supervising and executing electrical work at project locations. Daily tasks include overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, verifying compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards, and coordinating with contractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues. The role involves performing site inspections, troubleshooting electrical faults, supporting power generation and distribution activities, and preparing technical reports and documentation. The Electrical Field Engineer also assists in planning work schedules, ensuring material and equipment readiness, and communicating progress and risks to project managers. This position requires regular interaction with clients and regulatory bodies to support project approvals and smooth project delivery.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, with understanding of electricity principles and safety standards.
• Practical experience with Power Generation systems and related field operations.
• Knowledge of Power Distribution networks, switchgear, and protection systems.
• Ability to interpret and develop Electrical Design drawings and technical specifications.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience in on-site engineering or field service within industrial or commercial projects.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards for electrical installations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work safely under time constraints.
