Role Description This full-time hybrid role, based in Singapore, combines on-site collaboration with the flexibility to work from home part of the week. The Junior AI Engineer / AI Analyst will support research and analysis of AI technologies and trends, with a focus on making technical concepts accessible for a broad audience. Day-to-day responsibilities include exploring AI models and techniques, performing data and pattern analysis, assisting in prototyping and evaluating simple AI solutions, and summarizing findings into clear internal briefs. The role involves collaborating with editorial and technical stakeholders, maintaining documentation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of AI-related content and tools used by the newsletter.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and basic Software Development skills for working with code, tools, and data pipelines.
• Knowledge of Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks to analyze data and understand common AI model architectures.
• Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) to work with text-based models and evaluate language-driven AI applications.
• Experience with Python or similar programming languages; exposure to AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn) is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret technical research papers and translate key insights into clear, concise explanations.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence and its applications.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a hybrid work environment.
• Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
