Job Title:- Sourcing Specialist

Role Summary:-
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you will lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including the development and execution of long-term agreements (LTAs) to drive cost efficiency, supply continuity, and commercial value. You will partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure robust contracting strategies aligned with business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:-
- Leading development and execution of sourcing strategies across assigned categories.
- Driving establishment of long-term contracts (LTAs) and framework agreements with key suppliers.
- Managing end-to-end sourcing lifecycle including RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection.
· Executing Purchase Order (PO) placement in alignment with negotiated terms, project requirements, and procurement policies.
- Negotiating complex commercial terms, pricing structures, and contract conditions.
- Identifying strategic suppliers and developing partnerships to improve value and performance.
- Analyzing spend and market trends to identify cost-saving and consolidation opportunities.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, legal standards, and contractual governance.
- Collaborating with engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to align technical and commercial requirements.
- Monitoring supplier performance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proactively managing supply risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-
- Years of experience: 12 + years
- Field of experience: Strategic sourcing and procurement
- Technical Skills: Contract negotiation, LTA development, cost analysis, supplier evaluation, procurement strategy, commercial and contractual management
- Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing, communication, problem-solving
- Tools or Software (Required): MS Office, SAP, Ariba (or equivalent sourcing tools)
- Education Qualifications: Bachelor degree
- Industry Background or Experience (Required): Oil and Gas (field and workshop)
- Target Companies: OEMs, EPC contractors, oilfield services companies, multinational industrial organizations
- Off-limits Companies: NA
- Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including driving License: Driving License preferred, professional certification (CIPS/ISM) is an advantage
