RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Executive, Documentation Export, you will be responsible for handling all export shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading (BLs) and Manifests, ensuring they are issued accurately and in compliance with customer and Principal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Documentation Export, your main responsibility will be to ensure accurate data retrieval and input in the MSC system, manage the release of Delivery Orders and Bills of Lading (BL), and handle payment collection to enable prompt BL production and smooth cargo release. This role also requires effective coordination and communication with customers.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure prompt production of Bills of Lading (BL) and smooth cargo release, with effective coordination and communication with customers.
  • Responsible for accurate data input in the MSC system, release of BLs, and collection of payments.
  • Monitor and ensure all export DTX files are sent to Geneva (GVA) on time.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Office to resolve any local export DTX issues.
  • Own and execute all tasks to ensure prompt and error-free delivery of BLs.
  • Maintain and update the Monthly BL & MC Report.
  • Participate in and support system improvement projects.
  • Assist with projects and MSC system
QUALIFICATIONS

Who We Are Looking For

  • Minimum Diploma, preferably in Logistics, Maritime, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in the shipping or forwarding industry preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of documentation processes in shipping or forwarding.
  • Fresh graduates may also apply.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Meticulous, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage tasks.
  • Good people skills and teamwork orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
