Job Summary
Direct and supervise daily mechanical and electrical (M&E) installation works on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance while coordinating resources and stakeholders to achieve project milestones efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily M&E installation works, ensuring workers and subcontractors follow approved drawings and method statements to meet project specifications
- Schedule daily manpower deployment and manage site logistics to maintain continuous workflow and prevent delays
- Coordinate timely material delivery to support uninterrupted site operations
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship quality, identify clashes or technical issues, and implement corrective actions promptly
- Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations by conducting toolbox meetings and ensuring compliance with permit-to-work requirements
- Liaise with project managers, consultants, main contractors, and client representatives to resolve conflicts and facilitate smooth project execution
Required competencies and certifications
- Diploma, NITEC/Higher NITEC, or technical certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- 1 to 5+ years of relevant on-site supervisory experience in residential, commercial, or industrial projects
- Trade certifications and safety credentials such as the BCSS (Building Construction Supervisor Safety) course
- Ability to read and interpret complex M&E and architectural blueprints to monitor quality control and project progress

- Strong team leadership demonstrated by managing manpower and coordinating site activities effectively
- Conflict resolution skills applied to liaise with multiple stakeholders and resolve site issues
- Reporting capabilities to document site progress and compliance status
