Warehouse Assistant
Job Summary
Support daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory control, stocktake, and order fulfilment using the NAV ERP system to ensure accurate inventory and timely deliveries to outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Goods Handling
Receive incoming goods and verify quantity and condition against delivery orders and invoices.
Perform Goods Received Note (GRN) entries in the Microsoft NAV ERP system.
Ensure proper labelling, categorisation, and storage of goods in designated warehouse locations.
Report damaged, incorrect, or missing items to the warehouse supervisor.
Inventory Control & Stocktake
Maintain accurate inventory records using the NAV ERP system.
Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic stocktake to ensure system inventory matches physical stock.
Investigate and report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) stock rotation for expiry-sensitive products.
Monitor stock levels and highlight potential low stock or expiry risks.
Picking, Packing & Dispatch
Pick and prepare stock accurately based on outlet or internal orders.
Ensure correct items and quantities are packed and dispatched.
Assist with loading and unloading of goods for deliveries.
Support urgent stock requests from outlets and operations teams.
Warehouse Organisation & Safety
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and proper storage practices.
Ensure safe handling of goods and compliance with warehouse safety procedures.
Assist with moving and carrying heavy goods when required.
Requirements
Min Secondary education or equivalent.
Basic computer literacy (Excel and ERP systems).
Comfortable using Microsoft NAV ERP system for stock transactions.
Physically fit and able to carry & move heavy goods.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Responsible, honest, and reliable.
Must be able to understand and speak Mandarin to communicate with mandarin speaking colleagues
