Business Development Manager
Ship Management Company | Full-Time

Location: Tai Seng, Singapore

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the maritime and shipping industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, brokers, and other industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and commercial documentation.
  • Support contract negotiations and business development activities.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure effective service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and overseas business trips when required.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in business development, sales, or the maritime industry.
  • Prior experience in business development, sales, customer relations, shipping, logistics, or related industries is an advantage but not required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident in engaging with clients and building professional relationships.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel overseas for business meetings and industry events.
