About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior System & Application Programmer to join our team. In this role, you will architect, develop, deliver and maintain complex application, web, and AI-powered systems — and lead a small team to do it on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities

Web Systems

     Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance web systems and portals

     Define and enforce front-end and back-end architecture standards

     Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsiveness, and accessibility compliance

Application Systems

     Develop and maintain enterprise-grade application systems (desktop and/or mobile)

     Integrate third-party APIs, services, and internal microservices

     Ensure application security, data integrity, and performance optimisation

AI-Related Systems

     Implement AI/ML features including LLM integration, RAG pipelines, and intelligent automation

     Design and maintain data pipelines to support AI model training and inference

     Evaluate emerging AI technologies and recommend adoption where applicable

Team Leadership

     Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 4 developers

     Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement

     Coordinate task allocation, sprint planning, and progress tracking

Delivery & Timeline Management

     Own end-to-end delivery of projects against strict deadlines

     Proactively identify risks, blockers, and mitigation strategies

     Maintain clear communication with stakeholders on project status and milestones

Requirements

Technical Skills

     5+ years of professional experience in full-stack orsystem development

     Proficiency in web technologies: HTML5, CSS3,JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue

     Strong back-end skills: Node.js, Python, Java, orequivalent

     Experience with relational and NoSQL databases(PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)

     Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools: OpenAI API,LangChain, HuggingFace, or similar

     Cloud infrastructure experience: AWS, Azure, or GCP

     Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and versioncontrol (Git)

Leadership & Soft Skills

     Proven ability to lead small development teams and drive accountability

     Excellent problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset

     Strong communication skills — able to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
