Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Dental Assistant to become a part of our vibrant, professional team.

Prior experience is not required. What matters most is a positive attitude, a strong desire to learn, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist on duty during procedures by preparing and passing instruments and providing support for patient care
  • Assist to sterilize dental instruments, maintain cleanliness, and ensure compliance with hygiene standards in the treatment rooms
  • Prepare and arrange treatment areas, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment
  • Guide and comfort patients before, during, and after dental procedures, ensuring they feel at ease
  • Assist to take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, medical history, and consent forms
  • Educate patients on oral care, treatment procedures, and post-treatment instructions

  • Completed NITEC/Diploma in Nursing, Healthcare, or a similar field
  • Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, or retail environments
  • Basic knowledge of dental procedures, sterilisation protocols, and infection control standards a plus
