Responsibilities

Job Summary

Drive business growth by identifying and securing new opportunities across engineering, plumbing, facility management, construction, and corporate sectors. Develop tailored client solutions, manage sales pipelines, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across engineering, plumbing, facility management, construction, and corporate sectors to expand market presence
  • Generate qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, tenders, digital channels, and strategic partnerships to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, property management companies, government agencies, and business partners to foster long-term collaboration
  • Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, presentations, and tender submissions to support business acquisition efforts
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to develop customised solutions that precisely meet client requirements and enhance client satisfaction
  • Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions
  • Develop and implement business development strategies aimed at achieving sales targets and company objectives
  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences to increase brand visibility and generate leads
  • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM systems, providing accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to stakeholders
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals while maintaining healthy profit margins
  • Partner with the marketing team to support campaigns, branding initiatives, and lead generation activities that drive business growth
  • Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and after-sales support

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or related roles
  • Experience in engineering services, plumbing, M&E, facilities management, construction, or B2B consultancy is advantageous
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
