Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across engineering, plumbing, facility management, construction, and corporate sectors to expand market presence
- Generate qualified leads through networking, cold outreach, referrals, tenders, digital channels, and strategic partnerships to build a robust sales pipeline
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, property management companies, government agencies, and business partners to foster long-term collaboration
- Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, presentations, and tender submissions to support business acquisition efforts
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to develop customised solutions that precisely meet client requirements and enhance client satisfaction
- Conduct market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategic decisions
- Develop and implement business development strategies aimed at achieving sales targets and company objectives
- Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, and industry conferences to increase brand visibility and generate leads
- Manage the sales pipeline using CRM systems, providing accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports to stakeholders
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals while maintaining healthy profit margins
- Partner with the marketing team to support campaigns, branding initiatives, and lead generation activities that drive business growth
- Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction through proactive account management and after-sales support
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or related roles
- Experience in engineering services, plumbing, M&E, facilities management, construction, or B2B consultancy is advantageous
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM software
