Cloud Solutions Architect (3 immediate positions)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Employment Term: 6 months renewable term

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. The role will be responsible for designing, proposing, and supporting cloud infrastructure and solution architecture for enterprise customers.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on exposure in cloud platforms, infrastructure design, migration, security, and enterprise solutioning. This role requires someone who is technically strong, customer-facing, and able to work closely with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients to deliver practical and scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop cloud architecture solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with customers, project teams, presales, delivery, and operations teams to define solution scope and technical approach.
• Assess existing infrastructure and recommend suitable cloud adoption, migration, or modernization strategies.
• Prepare high-level and low-level solution designs, technical documentation, diagrams, and proposal inputs.
• Support cloud migration, deployment, integration, and transformation initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance on cloud security, networking, compute, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and governance.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Participate in technical discussions, workshops, solution reviews, and stakeholder presentations.
• Support troubleshooting and technical advisory during project delivery where required.
• Stay updated with cloud technologies, architecture patterns, automation, and security trends.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect, Solution Architect, Infrastructure Architect, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or hybrid cloud environments.
• Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, virtualization, security, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience in cloud migration, cloud transformation, or enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Ability to produce solution designs, architecture diagrams, technical proposals, and documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate with multiple technical and business teams.
• Cloud certification such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, or equivalent would be an added advantage.
• Experience working in a managed services, SI, telco, or enterprise IT environment would be preferred.
