Role Description The Social Media Content Creator is a full-time role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, offered on a hybrid arrangement that combines on-site collaboration with flexible work-from-home days. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms to build brand awareness and drive community engagement around Orus’s wellness rituals. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, producing short-form video and static assets, writing captions and stories, and optimizing posts based on performance data. The Social Media Content Creator will collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to support campaigns, launches, and partnerships, while ensuring consistent brand voice and visual identity. The role also involves monitoring conversations, responding to community interactions, and staying current with social media trends relevant to wellness and lifestyle.

Qualifications

  • Content creation and storytelling skills, including social media copywriting, basic graphic design, and short-form video production.
  • Experience with social media platforms and tools, such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and scheduling or analytics tools.
  • Digital marketing and content strategy abilities, including planning content calendars, supporting campaigns, and optimizing for engagement and reach.
  • Research and analytical skills to interpret performance metrics, identify audience insights, and iterate content based on data.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated interest in wellness, lifestyle, or e-commerce; prior experience in these sectors is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing priorities and trends.
  • Relevant education or experience in marketing, communications, media, design, or a related field is preferred but not strictly required.
