Job Description

Responsibilities

Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our outsourcing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with statutory requirements. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple client accounts, and a commitment to delivering quality service.Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a portfolio of clients and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Prepare full sets of accounts for assigned clients.
  • Process Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and general ledger transactions.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Assist clients with accounting-related enquiries and provide timely support.
  • Ensure all accounting records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of statutory requirements, including SST and other relevant filings.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities when required.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or outsourcing environment will have an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and statutory requirements is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and client management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
  • Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
