Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To assist in plan and request the related training to meet quality objectives.
  • To assist in plan and conduct on-the-job training from time to time as when necessary. On-the-job training shall conduct with commensurate to the level of education the employee.
  • Managing the logistic processes and related outputs compliance to its laws, guidelines and ISO requirements.
  • Managing the achievement of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
  • Correcting, preventing or reducing undesired effects in order to improve the performance and effectiveness of the process.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of logistics and distribution activities, ensuring all activities are in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations governing transportation and logistics activities.
  • Negotiate with transportation, shipping companies, and freight forwarders on rates and service charges.
  • Prepare customs statements and reports, ensuring adherence to customs regulations.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure smooth order fulfilment and shipment schedules.
  • Communicate and coordinate with government authorities, customs, forwarders, transporters, and shipping agents for import, export, and customs-related tasks.
  • Handle shipping documents and exemptions related to logistics.
  • Prepare and submit LMW reports and other necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for export declarations, customs clearance, and requirements.
  • Apply for import/export permits as required for company products.
  • Negotiate with transport providers and forwarders to secure cost-efficient services.
  • Calculate transportation charges, compare quotations, and manage logistics costs effectively.
  • To maintain proper filling for all respective document.
  • Ensure the checklist/forms in use are compliance to EMS/QMS.
  • Perform other tasks / duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma & above in Logistic/Transportation, Supply-chain Management or At least 3-5 years of working experience in similar field/position.
  • Knowledge in Oversea Import Regulation & Requirement would be an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge in negotiation, sourcing and planning skills.
  • Other competences: Responsibility & independently, secrecy, attentive, agility

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Work Location: In person
