Role Description

• The Application Engineer (Metrology & Inspection) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kota Damansara.

• This role involves supporting customers with application-related inquiries, configuring and optimizing metrology and inspection systems, and providing technical guidance on measurement solutions.

• The Application Engineer also responsible on review customer's drawings and provides quotation on measurement service with CMM, VMM, 3D Scanner and etc.

• Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing application documentation, conducting product demonstrations, and delivering training to customers on the proper usage of metrology machines and software.

• The role also requires close communication with sales teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in mechanical engineering are preferred.
• Having CAD Drawing background are strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in measurement-related work.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects or customer requests concurrently.
• Prior experience in metrology, inspection systems, or industrial automation will be an advantage.
