Role Overview

Autronica is seeking a dynamic, driven Business Development Manager to lead new business growth across the Asia Pacific clean energy sector, focusing on markets such as Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, China, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

This role is dedicated to driving new opportunities in offshore and onshore wind, hydrogen, LNG, battery storage, utility projects, industrial HVAC, and HVDC transmission.
The ideal candidate is aggressive, entrepreneurial, and skilled at navigating complex, multicultural environments.

This is a role for someone who takes ownership - someone who builds market presence, opens strategic accounts, and rapidly develops a pipeline that contributes to Autronica’s long-term success in APAC.

Your Key Responsibilities as a Business Development Manager will be:

Market Expansion & Account Development

• Develop Autronica’s clean-energy footprint across priority APAC markets.
• Identify and break into key accounts: wind OEMs, EPCs, hydrogen developers, LNG operators, utility companies, and BESS integrators.
• Build strong relationships with government bodies, regulators, consultants, and industrial OEMs where required.

Pipeline Growth & Opportunity Creation

• Develop and manage a strong pipeline across multiple APAC markets.
Lead the early-stage sales process from prospecting qualification engagement
• opportunity definition.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor APAC market drivers including government policies, safety regulations, energy transition roadmaps, and competitor strategies.
• Assess emerging opportunities in fast-growing markets such as Taiwan offshore wind, Southeast Asia LNG, and Korea/Japan hydrogen initiatives.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with regional sales teams, product specialists, and technical experts to deliver tailored proposals.
• Represent Autronica at key APAC exhibitions, conferences, and national energy platforms.

Who we are looking for

You bring a strong commercial mindset and a proven ability to open doors in complex, multi-country markets. With deep exposure to APAC energy and industrial sectors, you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, hunter approach to winning new business. You thrive in fast-moving environments, building trusted relationships and executing independently across diverse cultures.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years in business development or sales within energy, industrial systems, safety technologies, or renewables in APAC.
• Strong understanding of APAC markets in wind, hydrogen, LNG, HVDC, battery storage, or industrial HVAC.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts and winning early-stage business.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering/Business).
• Fluent English; regional languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Bahasa, etc.) are major advantages.
• Willingness to travel regionally (40–70%).
