Must-Have Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Good Python programming skills.

Hands-on experience in building and deploying machine learning models.

Experience with machine learning algorithms such as:

XGBoost, LightGBM, Decision trees and Neural networks

Good understanding of predictive modelling fundamentals.

Experience with feature engineering and model evaluation.

Understanding of data leakage and how to avoid it during model development and validation.

Knowledge of evaluation metrics such as MAE, MAPE, and RMSE.

Ability to explain model results to both technical and business users.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially:

BigQuery

Vertex AI

Added Advantage

Experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning models in production.

Experience with deep learning for forecasting.

Experience with AutoML tools.

Experience with LLM-based applications.

Exposure to model monitoring, drift detection, and production performance tracking.
