We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion into Macau. Based primarily in our Hong Kong office, this role will be pivotal in driving growth, establishing a strong market presence, and building long-term partnerships. The successful candidate will combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring our brand thrives across B2C and B2B channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research on Macau’s consumer trends, competitive landscape, and local market dynamics.
- Provide actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement targeted sales strategies for online platforms, e-commerce, toy shops, and educational centers.
- Drive both B2C and B2B growth initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local retailers, distributors, and educational institutions.
- Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships to expand market reach.
- Work closely with the marketing team to design and execute localized campaigns and promotional materials.
- Ensure brand messaging resonates with Macau’s audience.
- Oversee sales operations and manage sales teams to optimize performance.
- Implement efficient processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor customer feedback and satisfaction levels.
- Ensure long-term loyalty through proactive engagement and service excellence.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management on market trends, sales performance, and expansion progress.
- Track KPIs to measure success and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Regularly travel to Macau to conduct face-to-face meetings, strengthen partnerships, and establish a strong local presence.
RequirementsQualifications
- Experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or market expansion roles.
- Proven track record in driving growth in new markets, ideally within retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods.
