Responsibilities

Satellite System Developer (.NET) – Contract (12 Months)


Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (On-site)

Industry: Financial Services / Insurance

Employment Type: 12-Month Contract


We are looking for an experienced Satellite System Developer (.NET) to join our client's IT team in the Financial Services / Insurance industry. This role focuses on developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET applications.
  • Develop applications using ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Microservices Architecture.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business users, UX designers, and developers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform system enhancements, troubleshooting, bug fixing, and performance optimization.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture reviews.
  • Prepare technical documentation and ensure development follows best practices.
  • Mentor junior developers when required.
  • Support Agile/Scrum software development activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in Microsoft .NET development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • C#
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • Web API / REST API
  • Microservices
  • Experience with SQL/database integration.
  • Familiar with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with SharePoint development is an added advantage.
