MTR Corporation Hiring! Full Time Support Engineer-Civil - Structural in Hong Kong - Ricebowl

Responsibilities

• Undertake a wide range of design tasks (a particular plumbing and drainage in civil/building), provide technical support as well as prepare cost estimate for the capital and revenue works / interfacing works in stations, depots, ancillary buildings and other railway premises
• Prepare design / tender drawings, specifications, design calculations, budget / cost estimates and statutory submissions and vet design submissions
• Liaise and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for design submission review and associated documentation
• Render technical support by conducting technical investigation, reviewing new technology application and standards

Requirements

• Degree in Building / Civil / Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of at least 3 years’ relevant experience, of which 1 year should be in design capacity. Plumbing and drainage design experience is an advantage
• Be self-motivated with good interpersonal skill and the ability to work independently
• Good command of written English and Putonghua is an advantage

• Appointment will be made on two-year renewable contract terms
