About Us

SG Film Sdn. Bhd. is a Malaysian plastics manufacturing company with over 30 years of experience producing high-quality LDPE and HDPE bags, sheets, and film for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

Today, we are embarking on an exciting new chapter. Building upon decades of manufacturing expertise, we are expanding our focus towards using recycled plastics and sustainable manufacturing, transforming plastic waste into valuable products while helping create a more environmentally responsible industry.

As a growing company, we are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Executive to become part of our close-knit team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn every aspect of manufacturing operations from the ground up while growing alongside the business.

We are particularly interested in applicants who live within the Klang area and are looking for a long-term career rather than simply another job.

About the Role

The Warehouse Executive plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for managing inventory movements, monitoring stock levels, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring production always has the materials it needs.

Unlike larger organisations where responsibilities are narrowly defined, this role offers broad exposure across warehouse operations, inventory control, production support, and manufacturing processes. You will work closely with management and the production team, gaining valuable hands-on experience that provides a strong foundation for a long-term career in manufacturing.

Whether you are a fresh graduate eager to begin your career or someone with relevant experience looking for a company where your contributions truly matter, we value individuals who are dependable, eager to learn, and committed to growing with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the receiving, storage, and issuance of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all stock movements are properly documented.
  • Monitor daily raw material inventory levels and report replenishment requirements.
  • Perform daily checks on Work-in-Progress (WIP) inventory to ensure production records remain accurate.
  • Coordinate material movements between the warehouse and production floor.
  • Prepare and verify delivery orders, goods receiving documentation, stock issue records, and inventory reports.
  • Conduct routine stock counts and assist with scheduled stocktakes.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and support corrective actions.
  • Maintain warehouse organisation, cleanliness, and compliance with safety procedures.
  • Assist in improving warehouse systems and inventory control processes as the company continues to grow.

Essential Qualities

  • Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining accurate records.
  • Comfortable working in both warehouse and manufacturing environments.
  • Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small team.

Preferred Qualities

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, production, or manufacturing is an advantage but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
  • Candidates residing in or near Klang will be given preference.

Personal Attributes

  • Honest and dependable.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Takes ownership of responsibilities.
  • Enjoys solving operational problems.
  • Calm, methodical, and consistent under pressure.
  • Curious and eager to learn new skills.
  • Interested in building a long-term career within the manufacturing industry.

What We Offer

  • Stable employment within a growing Malaysian manufacturing company.
  • Training and mentorship from an experienced management team with over 30 years of industry knowledge.
  • A unique opportunity to learn manufacturing operations from the ground up.
  • Exposure to warehouse management, inventory control, production planning, and manufacturing processes.
  • Opportunities for career progression as the business continues to expand.
  • Competitive salary package with performance-based career development.
  • Supportive, collaborative, and professional working environment where every team member makes a meaningful contribution.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume together with a brief cover letter outlining:

  • Why you are interested in warehouse and manufacturing operations.
  • Any experience you have with inventory, warehousing, manufacturing, or logistics.
  • Examples of how you demonstrate responsibility, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Why you would like to build your career with SG Film Sdn. Bhd.
