The Optical & IP Networking Design Engineer focuses on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of both optical and IP networks. This position demands a high degree of independence, accuracy, and attention to detail. The engineer will address a wide range of complex network issues, working on diverse problems with minimal supervision.
This role requires a deep understanding of optical and IP networking, hardware technologies, and network management tools.

Required Qualifications
- /Skills:
Bachelor’s degree with 5 to 8 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and ex - perience.Proven experience in optical networking (DWDM, CWDM) and IP networking (IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, BG
- P, OSPF).Strong judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining network s
- olutions.Comprehensive understanding of fiber-optic technology, including cable types,connector types, optic types, patch panels, and optical transport tech
- nologies.Experience in preparing root cause analysis reports for network and server
- outages.Strong communication skills, capable of effectively working with global service providers, colocation facilities,
and ISPs.
Preferred Qualif

Experience working in a multi-vendor network e - nvironment.Relevant network certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, OCA, or
equivalent.
