A fast-growing MNC pharmaceutical products manufacturer is seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand their market presence, manage and strengthen customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities within Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales growth in the Malaysian market.
- Identify and secure new customers from the pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, nutraceutical, and related industries.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business development plans.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate customer visits, product presentations, and plant tours.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in business development, sales, or key account management. Existing network with pharmaceutical manufacturers and healthcare companies.
- Strong understanding of the Malaysian pharmaceutical industry.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Willing to travel throughout Malaysia.
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
