Our client is a growing specialist in Building Materials, supporting residential, commercial, hospitality, and luxury development projects across Malaysia.

Known for its extensive range of architectural materials and commitment to quality, the company works closely with homeowners, interior designers, architects, contractors, and developers to deliver customised solutions for a wide variety of projects.


Location & Coverage

• Based in Johor Bahru

• Coverage: Southern Region (Johor and surrounding areas)


Reporting Line

• Reporting to: Sales Manager / Business Development Manager


Main Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is currently seeking a Sales Executive to drive business growth within the stone and flooring segment.

In this role, you will combine consultative selling, project coordination, and relationship management to support clients throughout their project journey—from material selection through to project completion.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Assisting customers, designers, and project stakeholders in selecting suitable stone and flooring materials for residential and commercial applications

• Developing new business opportunities through networking and engagement with interior designers, contractors, developers, and architects

• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders

• Managing and tracking sales opportunities through CRM systems to ensure timely follow-up and conversion

• Conducting product presentations and consultations for clients and project teams

• Coordinating closely with site, project, and quantity surveying teams to support successful project delivery

• Attending site visits and project meetings with contractors and trade partners when required

• Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for business growth

• Achieving sales targets while delivering excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle


Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:

• Around 2 years or more of experience in sales, business development, or project sales within building materials or related industries

• Experience dealing with interior designers, contractors, developers, architects, or project stakeholders is highly advantageous

• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

• Customer-focused approach with the ability to understand project requirements and recommend suitable solutions

• Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools is advantageous

• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

• Comfortable attending site visits and project meetings when required

• Flexible to support occasional weekend customer consultations, with replacement leave provided
