MYFutureJobs are currently assisting a leading manufacturing company in recruiting a Fire Safety Manager to strengthen their plant safety operations in Pasir Gudang.

This is a critical role responsible for ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations while leading emergency preparedness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Fire & Emergency Action Plans and procedures
• Ensure compliance with Fire Safety Organisation (OKK) and FSM statutory requirements
• Liaise with BOMBA and authorities on inspections, approvals, and compliance matters
• Conduct fire hazard inspections, incident investigations, and implement corrective actions
• Supervise installation, testing, maintenance, and reliability of fire protection systems
• Organise fire drills, evacuation exercises, and training programmes
• Monitor contractor compliance and participate in joint safety inspections
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records

Requirements

• Experience in Fire Safety Management / HSE / Safety Engineering
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian fire safety regulations and BOMBA requirements
• Certified or registered under Fire Safety Manager (FSM) (advantage)
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong leadership skills with ability to manage emergency preparedness programs
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
