Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Principal Site Engineer in all daily site activities and coordination tasks.
  • Track and monitor site progress using Microsoft Project in accordance with the established project schedule.
  • Compile and organize all documentation related to Extension of Time (EOT), such as Site Instructions and Variation Orders, for submission to the Project Manager.
  • Advise the Project Manager and Construction Manager on issues causing delays and assist in preparing the necessary contractual correspondence to the Client and Subcontractors.
  • Prepare mini work programs as required, based on the Two Weeks Look Ahead Plan provided by the Construction Manager.
  • Prepare and update the Material Wastage Report to monitor usage and minimize loss.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely Site Daily Reports.
  • Prepare and submit Request for Inspection (RFI) forms to the Supervising Consultant prior to commencement of site works.
  • Plan and prepare site material requests to ensure timely availability of required items.
  • Prepare work-done sketches for works carried out by the Project Team and compile joint measurement sketches for works undertaken by Subcontractors for the Contracts Department’s monthly progress claims.
  • Supervise and monitor any staff under your responsibility as per the site organization chart.
  • Liaise with Consultants to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth site progress. Any cost implications must be discussed with the Project Manager and Construction Manager prior to engaging the Consultant.
  • Review revised construction drawings for discrepancies and notify the QA/QC Engineer for follow-up.
  • Ensure all site works are executed in accordance with approved construction drawings and decisions concluded via approved RFIs.





Requirement

  • s:Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineerin
  • g.Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in a similar capacity; fresh graduates are encouraged to appl
  • y.Computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office application
  • s.Result-oriented, proactive, and willing to work according to project requirement
  • s.Able to work independently, take initiative, and accept challenges in a fast-paced project environmen
