Responsibilities
PPC Manager
The PPC Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and control of manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production flow, optimal resource utilization, and timely delivery of products. This role bridges operations, supply chain, and quality management to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Production Planning & Scheduling
o Develop and implement production plans aligned with sales forecasts and customer orders.
o Create detailed schedules to optimize machine utilization, manpower, and material availability.
o Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to address delays or changes in demand.
· Inventory & Material Control
o Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
o Maintain optimal inventory levels to balance cost efficiency with production needs.
o Implement systems to track material usage and reduce wastage.
· Process Optimization
o Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
o Introduce lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
o Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
· Cross-Functional Coordination
o Collaborate with sales, procurement, logistics, and quality teams to align production with business goals.
o Communicate production status and resolve conflicts between departments.
· Reporting & Control
o Prepare regular reports on production performance, capacity utilization, and delivery timelines.
o Use ERP/MRP systems to manage planning and control activities.
o Establish KPIs to measure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to schedules.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
· 5–10 years of experience in production planning and control, preferably in manufacturing.
· Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling tools.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
· Leadership ability to manage teams and drive cross-functional collaboration.
· Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
