Responsibilities
· Work closely under the Sous Chef/Chef de Partie’s supervision and carry out instructions in a professional manner.
· Wear a complete and clean uniform and maintain proper personal appearance and hygiene standards.
· Cleans and organizes Chiller and Freezers before starting work and after operation hours.
· Understand the content of the Standard Operation Procedure.
· Make daily thorough mise-en-place of all items featured on the menu.
· Pick up food orders from various stores, receiving and outlets.
· Keeps work area/equipment clean and tidy and adheres strictly to sanitation and safety standards.
· Knowledgeable of different types of cooking methods, soups, basic sauces and dressing.
· To prepare various types of a la carte menu items and buffet products.
· Set up buffet for function, half an hour before the function starts.
· Ensure proper usage and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils in all kitchen areas.
· Any other duties that may be assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 per month
