Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Assistant Manager, Human Resources is responsible for supporting the overall Human Resources functions by ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures. The role oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, payroll administration, training and development, HR compliance, and organizational development while ensuring compliance with Malaysian labour laws and company policies.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process (manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviews, offer letters).
  • Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes including documentation and exit management.
  • Administer payroll coordination, leave management, attendance, and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, ZAKAT, PCB).
  • Ensure compliance with Employment Act and other relevant labour laws.
  • Handle employee relations matters including disciplinary issues, show cause letters, warning letters, and domestic inquiry support.
  • Maintain and update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
  • Manage performance appraisal process and KPI monitoring.
  • Support training & development initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports for Management (headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
  • Liaise with government agencies (LHDN, KWSP, PERKESO, HRD Corp, JTK, etc.).
  • Oversee general office administration and facility management.
  • Coordinate insurance matters (medical, company vehicles).
  • Handle tenancy agreements, renewals, and license documentation.
  • Supervise administrative staff (if applicable).
  • Ensure proper document control and filing systems (hardcopy & digital).
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR & Admin experience.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in handling disciplinary matters and documentation.
  • Experience in using HR2000 system will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Willing to work at Mont Kiara, KL

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
