Role Description The Service Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Puchong. This role involves performing installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of packaging, marking, and automation equipment at customer locations. The Service Engineer will troubleshoot technical issues, provide field service and on-site technical support, and ensure minimal downtime for customer operations. Responsibilities include preparing service reports, communicating clearly with customers and internal teams, and supporting continuous improvement of service processes. The role may require occasional travel to customer sites and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues.
  • Candidates should possess Field Service capabilities, including on-site support, customer interaction, and adherence to service schedules.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Candidates should possess solid Technical Support experience, including diagnosing problems and providing practical solutions.
  • Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for industrial machinery, packaging systems, and related equipment.
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering field is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with packaging, bottling, canning, or automation systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and a valid driving license are beneficial.
