Role Description The Export Business Development Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kulim. This role is responsible for supporting the development and execution of export business strategies, including identifying new markets, building relationships with international distributors, and managing export sales activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing business plans and sales forecasts, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and coordinating with internal teams on product, pricing, and logistics for overseas markets. The role also involves handling export documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and providing regular performance reports and insights to management. The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to drive growth and strengthen EB Frozen Food’s presence in global markets.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Business Planning and Business Development to support growth strategies and sales initiatives.
  • Candidates should possess skills in International Business and Export to manage overseas markets and ensure compliance with trade requirements.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Sales to engage customers, negotiate agreements, and meet revenue targets.
  • Strong analytical and market research skills, with the ability to interpret data and recommend actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and international partners.
  • Good command of English; additional language skills are an advantage for dealing with overseas clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or related field is preferred.
  • Experience in the food industry or FMCG export environment is an added advantage.
  • Able to travel overseas
