Key Responsibilities
1. Export Shipment Coordination
- Handle export bookings from customers and overseas agents.
- Arrange bookings with carriers, co-loaders, and transport vendors.
- Monitor shipment schedules, vessel departures, and cargo movements.
2. Documentation
- Prepare and verify shipping documents, including:
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Shipping Instructions (SI)
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Certificate of Origin (COO)
- DG declarations (when applicable)
- Ensure documentation complies with destination country requirements.
3. Customer Service
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries.
- Provide shipment status updates and resolve shipment issues.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and overseas agents.
4. Operations Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse, trucking companies, carriers, and customs brokers.
- Arrange cargo collection, stuffing, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on shipment milestones and exceptions.
5. Billing & Cost Control
- Prepare job files and billing instructions.
- Verify vendor invoices and customer charges.
- Ensure all costs are captured and billed accurately.
6. Compliance
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations, carrier requirements, and company SOPs.
- Handle DG cargo documentation and special cargo requirements when necessary.
7. Reporting
- Update shipment records in operating systems.
- Maintain accurate filing and documentation.
- Prepare reports requested by management.
Pay: $2,600.00 - $3,500.00 per month
