Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities, equipment, and building systems. The ideal candidate will lead the maintenance team, ensure preventive maintenance is carried out effectively, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities.
- Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance works.
- Inspect buildings, facilities, equipment, and systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
- Assign tasks to maintenance technicians and monitor work quality.
- Ensure all maintenance works comply with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and servicing.
- Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and equipment history.
- Monitor inventory of maintenance tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Prepare maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of work orders.
- Conduct routine inspections to minimize equipment downtime.
- Support facility improvement and renovation projects.
- Train and guide maintenance staff on best practices and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Diploma, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of maintenance experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
- Good knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently.
- Familiarity with workplace safety regulations.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supervising maintenance operations in commercial, industrial, or healthcare facilities.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Valid Class 3 driving licence is an advantage (if applicable).
Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
