Job Description:

We are looking for a problem-solver and detail-oriented Game Client Engineer to support our Research & Development team. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing mobile game client systems, including architecture, gameplay features, and UI frameworks. You will lead the client development team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, ensure timely and high-quality delivery, and continuously improve game performance and player experience.


What You'll Do:

  • Design and develop mobile game client, including structure, code and logic, resource structure, UI framework;
  • Lead the client development team to ensure timely delivery and quality standards
  • Collaborate with server, planners, and project managers to align requirements and technical solutions
  • Design and implement core functional modules of the game client
  • Manage resource allocation, development progress, and quality control
  • Continuously optimize code, iterate features, and improve performance and user experience
  • Handle build packaging and release, including understanding Google/iOS submission processes


Requirements:

  • More than 3 years of game client development experience, more than 1 year of team management experience, priority given to projects that have successfully launched.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and expert knowledge of the Unity game engine. Experience with scripting languages such as Lua. Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including computer systems, operating systems, data structures, and related concepts.
  • Possess a spirit of exploration, love technology, and keep up with technological developments.
  • Strong learning ability, sense of responsibility, good communication skills, teamwork spirit.
  • Good at summarizing experience, forming documents, and standardizing client work.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for mobile/video games is a plus!
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin are a plus due to the need to speak with stakeholders.
