Responsibilities
An international leading brand specializing in premium flavored liquids, gourmet ingredients, and food products is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Maintenance Manager to join their growing team in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers and technicians within the manufacturing plant. This role ensures the reliable and efficient operation of production equipment, utilities, and infrastructure to support consistent production output, product safety, and high-quality standards.
The position is accountable for implementing robust preventive maintenance strategies, driving equipment reliability, minimizing unplanned downtime, and ensuring full compliance with HSE and food safety regulations.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of engineers and technicians supporting processing, utilities, and filling & packaging operations.
Ensure all processing equipment (including mixing, weighing, pasteurization, filling, and CIP systems) operates reliably and efficiently.
Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting equipment breakdowns and process/parameter deviations.
Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support daily manufacturing activities and production targets.
Ensure timely technical support during production shifts, breakdowns, and changeovers.
Support new product introductions, new formulations/changes, and equipment trials.
Improve line efficiency, reduce wastage, and drive systematic root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, energy efficiency, and maintenance costs.
Lead engineering projects (CAPEX), including equipment upgrades, new line installations, automation improvements, or plant expansion.
Ensure all equipment and utilities comply with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, FSSC 22000, or local food regulations).
Oversee plant utilities including boilers, compressors, water processing, water treatment, HVAC, and electrical systems.
Ensure technical activities comply with safety regulations and company HSE policies, leading safe work practices such as lock-out/tag-out (LOTO), confined space entry, and hot work permits.
Manage manpower planning, shift coverage, and training needs for the technical team.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build technical capability and support succession planning.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on maintenance activities and equipment downtime for management review.
Education: Possess a Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or any other related Engineering discipline.
Experience: * Minimum 12 years of engineering or technical experience in a food, beverage, or liquid processing manufacturing environment.
At least 5 years in a managerial role leading engineers and technicians.
Technical Skills:
Direct experience working with PLC-controlled batch systems, system automation, interlocks, and safety logics.
Ability to interpret control narratives, alarm logs, and trend data.
Familiarity with CMMS and various ERP software.
Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, CIP principles, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and P&IDs.
Strong understanding/application of RCA tools.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI) ; proficiency in AutoCAD or its alternatives is an added advantage.
Soft Skills & Knowledge:
Strong leadership, people management, and clear cross-functional communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
Solid knowledge of FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, OSHA, and DOE requirements.
