Responsibilities

Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong (Gleneagles) is a state-of-the-art, multi-specialty private tertiary hospital designed to provide the Hong Kong people with high-quality and accessible healthcare services.

Located at Wong Chuk Hang on Hong Kong Island South, Gleneagles provides 500 beds, cutting edge medical technologies and a comprehensive range of clinical services spanning more than 35 specialties and subspecialties. As Hong Kong’s top-notch private teaching hospital, Gleneagles also contributes to the training and development of healthcare professionals, and advancement of clinical research.

Gleneagles is a joint venture hospital between IHH Healthcare and CTF Services Limited and is managed by IHH Healthcare. The University of Hong Kong is the exclusive clinical partner of Gleneagles and is responsible for clinical governance.

Job Responsibilities

Build and maintain the end-to-end analytics data pipeline, ensuring data flows smoothly from source systems through transformation to dashboards and reports

Develop and manage ETL / ELT processes to collect, transform, and prepare data from multiple systems for analytics and reporting use

Identify opportunities for process improvement within data workflows, reporting cycles, and data management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Collaborate with stakeholders to re-engineer existing processes and introduce best practices in data governance, analytics delivery, and reporting operations

Design and maintain data storage structures that are reliable, easy to maintain, and optimized for reporting performance

Create and maintain data transformations, queries, and logic to ensure data is structured, accurate, and ready for business analysis

Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data by performing validation checks, monitoring data quality, and maintaining clear definitions of metrics and KPIs

Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define key measures, and translate business requirements into practical data solutions

Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide clear insights and support both operational needs and management decision-making

Apply sound data visualization principles to ensure dashboards are easy to understand, consistent, and user-friendly

Document data models, transformation logic, and reporting definitions to support transparency, knowledge sharing, and ongoing maintenance

Continuously review and improve data pipelines, datasets, and dashboards to enhance performance, usability, and scalability

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline

At least 3 years of relevant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or a similar role

Experience developing data pipelines and ETL processes using tools such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SQL

Proven experience or exposure to process improvement, workflow optimization, or automation initiatives will be an advantage

Strong proficiency in SQL, with solid experience using Power BI DAX

Experience working with large data models and datasets, including both structured and semi-structured data, for reporting and analysis purposes

Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools

Ability to work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements and translate them into data solutions and dashboards

Strong attention to data accuracy and data quality, with a well-organized and detail-oriented approach

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
