Responsibilities
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to manage the company’s full set of accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should be fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia, with strong accounting knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Manage daily accounting transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries accurately.
• Reconcile bank statements, supplier statements, and customer accounts.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare payment schedules.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government authorities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare SST-related documentation and submissions where applicable.
• Maintain proper filing and accounting records.
• Support management with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, or Professional Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in accounting or finance.
• Experience handling full set accounts independently.
• Knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, SST, and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Experience using accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, UBS, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
• Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in manufacturing, trading, healthcare, or SME environments.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and HR-related finance functions.
• Immediate availability or short notice period is an advantage.
