Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Videographer role based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Videographer is responsible for planning, shooting, and producing video content for marketing campaigns, social media, internal communications, and other company initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include operating cameras, setting up lighting and audio equipment, capturing footage according to creative briefs, and collaborating with producers, designers, and other stakeholders. The role also involves organizing and maintaining equipment, managing media files, and supporting post-production processes such as rough cuts and basic edits. The Videographer is expected to uphold brand and quality standards while meeting project timelines.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Video Production and Shooting Video, with experience managing end-to-end video projects.
  • Proficient Camera Operation using professional Camera equipment, including framing and composition.
  • Knowledge of Lighting techniques for different environments, including indoor, outdoor, and studio setups.
  • Experience working on-site with production teams and talent, maintaining a professional and inclusive set environment.
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and basic post-production workflows.
  • Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and contribute ideas to improve visual storytelling.
  • Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant education or training in film, media, communications, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
  • Portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous videography work is strongly preferred.
