Pre-assembly technicians for a Vestas project in Taiwan

Swire Renewable Energy is looking for:

• Mechanical Technicians
• Quality Inspectors
• Supervisors
• Painters/Rope access/Fibre repair technicians

to join an upcoming pre-assembly project in Taiwan. This is a long-term opportunity on V236 Vestas turbines.

About the project and role:

• Pre-assembly scope of work: mechanical tasks; Quality check; Supervising mechanical teams
• Contract type: B2B
• Start: August 2026
• End: February 2027
• Rotation pattern: 8/4 (you can work even more than 8 weeks, if you prefer)

Requirements:

• Certificates:
  • GWO BST
  • GWO BTT (Mechanical, Installation and Bolt Tightening)
  • GWO Slinger Signaller
  • OGUK and Chester Step
• Experience with V236 is preferred

What you'll be doing:

• Pre-assembly activities on V236 Vestas turbines
• Mechanical tasks, installation of WTG components, stretch
• Blade repair, painting, fibre repair, support in pre-assembly
• Quality verification of turbine components; ensuring compliance with Vestas standards and project quality requirements
