ASG Security Sdn Bhd is looking for a motivated and experienced Service Technician to join our growing security systems team.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, configuration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of CCTV, Card Access, Intrusion Detection Systems, networking, storage, hardware, and software.
- Attend to customers’ queries, support, services, and issues.
- Involved in cabling, wiring, mounting, and termination works.
- Report site details, work done, project progress status, customer requests or feedback, and issues to the reporting Manager/Supervisor.
- Update the documentation and provide operational training.
- Liaise/manage with suppliers/vendors and outsourced contractors for delivery works.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Computer/Telecommunication, others)
- 3 years of relevant work experience in a similar industry.
- Possessed a driving license with own transport (Car).
- Basic knowledge in cabling, networking, electronics, & computer.
- Strong analytical, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A team player to achieve corporate goals.
- Ability to accept new challenges, develop new skills/knowledge, and constantly engage in learning new technologies, methods, and processes.
- Must be willing to work overtime or late hours when required for project/site support.
