ABOUT THE ROLE :

StarValley Hospitality Group is looking for a skilled and reliable Technician to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and inspecting the property's facilities, equipment, and building systems to ensure they remain in excellent working condition. You will work closely with various departments to provide prompt maintenance support and contribute to delivering a safe and enjoyable experience for our guests.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DUTY :

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for the building, guest rooms, café, glamping facilities, and common areas.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and general maintenance issues.
• Perform routine inspections to identify potential maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and internal departments.
• Install, repair, and replace lighting, switches, sockets, water fixtures, locks, and other building equipment.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with company safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records in good condition.
• Monitor contractor work and assist with renovation or improvement projects when required.
• Assist in setting up equipment for events and operational activities.
• Report major maintenance issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Management.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

• Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Air-Conditioning, Building Maintenance, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience is preferred (fresh graduates with technical qualifications are encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and general building maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues efficiently.
• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and attend emergency maintenance when required.
• Possession of PW2, Air-Conditioning, or other technical certifications will be an added advantage.

JOB SUMMARY :
