Job Description

1. Warehouse management system (WMS)

- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot system-related issues.

- Coordinate system upgrades, change requests, testing, implementation of new features and integrate with other systems (e.g. GTP system, customer systems).

- Configure and maintain user accounts, permissions and access controls.

- Work with warehouse operations teams to optimize system processes and workflows.

- Generate and maintain system reports and data accuracy.

2. Automation system management

- Manage daily operations of the goods-to-person automation system.

- Monitor system performance, uptime and throughput.

- Ensure automation equipment operates within designed performance parameters.

- Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

- Track system incidents and root cause analysis.

- Manage project management from planning to implementation including project schedules, risk and mitigation plans, and coordinate with vendors, contractors and internal stakeholders.

3. IT infrastructure and technical support

- Monitor server performance and ensure system availability.

- Provide first-level and second-level technical support to users.

- Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and hardware replacements.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.

- Coordinate with external IT vendors for support, maintenance services, issues and resolutions and Service Level Agreement (SLA).

- Maintain warehouse computers, laptops, handheld scanners, mobile devices, printers, spare parts inventory and procurement.

- Manage network connectivity including LAN, Wi-Fi, switches and internet connections.

- Respond to incidents and minimize operational downtime.

4. Data and security management

- Perform regular data backups and recovery testing.

- Ensure compliance with company IT security policies.

- Monitor system access and investigate unauthorized activities.

- Maintain documentation of IT assets, licenses and system configurations.

5. Training and documentation

- Develop SOPs and work instructions.

- Train and conduct refresher programs to warehouse users and supervisors.

6. Data analytics and reporting

- Develop operational dashboards.

- Monitor key warehouse metrics such as system uptime, robot utilization, order fulfillment rate, picking productivity, inventory accuracy, throughput per hour and error rates.

- Present monthly reports to Management.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
