Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant to support our Finance Department in handling daily accounting and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess good organizational skills and be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle daily accounting transactions and data entry.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Assist in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in monthly closing activities and financial reporting.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting documents.
- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and external parties when required.
- Support audit and tax-related matters.
- Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience (Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience with accounting software will be an added advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
