Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description:

• We are on the lookout for a technically proficient and hands-on Microsoft Purview Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and management of data governance and compliance solutions within a non-persistent VDI environment.
• This role is requires individuals with a robust and working experience background in Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview, who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the protection and compliance of sensitive data with both internal and external regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide technical support throughout the deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization phases.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business, security, and compliance requirements, and design a scalable solution using Microsoft Purview.
• Design and implement Exact Data Match (EDM) as a fundamental requirement.
• Develop and enforce policies for data retention and protection utilizing Microsoft Purview.
• Monitor and manage data access, usage, and compliance through Purview's governance tools.
• Integrate Microsoft Purview with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other Microsoft 365 security tools within a non-persistent VDI environment to ensure comprehensive data protection.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions, such as email encryption using Microsoft Purview, align with organizational policies.
• Facilitate the integration of Purview and Defender with other Microsoft 365 and Azure services to establish a unified security and compliance framework.
• Job Requirements:
• Strong track record of navigating complex organizational structures and managing varied requirements in achieving cohesion & relevance in network security designs.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, particularly in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Exact Data Match (EDM), Sensitive Information Type (SIT) creation, and data governance.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and its integration with Purview and Microsoft 365 in a non-persistent VDI environment.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 compliance and security tools, including sensitivity labels, data classification, and audit logs.
• Experience working in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• A problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data protection issues.
