Key Responsibilites
- Supervise and manage daily production actvites on the shop floor.
- Ensure producton schedules are executed according to plan and delivery targets.
- Monitor machine utlizaton, line efficiency, output, and downtime.
- Troubleshoot production issues and take immediate correctve actons.
- Ensure smooth workflow and optmal manpower deployment across shifts.
- Monitor adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and production processes.
- Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and production consumables.
- Monitor inventory movement between warehouse and production floor.
- Ensure proper storage, material handling, and stock accuracy.
- Ensure FIFO / FEFO practices are followed where applicable.
- Support stock control and minimize production interruptions due to material shortages.
- Monitor finished goods transfer and warehouse coordination.
- Work closely with maintenance team to ensure machine uptime and reliability.
- Identify machine breakdown issues and escalate for immediate corrective action.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with production planning.
- Monitor equipment performance and recurring technical issues.
- Ensure operators follow basic machine care and housekeeping practices.
- Supervise operators, technicians, and production floor staff.
- Manage attendance, discipline, shift deployment, and manpower productivity.
- Conduct on-the-job coaching and operational guidance.
- Promote teamwork and effective communication across departments.
- Support staff development and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workplace regulations.
- Monitor GMP / housekeeping / 5S standards on the production floor.
- Ensure quality issues are identified and corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Support investigations on process deviations, incidents, and customer complaints where required.
- Prepare daily production reports, downtime reports, and shift performance summaries.
- Monitor KPIs such as productivity, scrap, downtime, OEE, labour efficiency, and delivery performance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Lead cross-functional coordination between Production, Warehouse, Maintenance, QA, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely issue resolution.
- Support and ensure plant readiness for internal, external, customer, and certification audits including ISO, FSSC, GMP, HACCP, and closure of audit findings / CAPA.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements including DOSH, OSHA, machinery safety, environmental, and legal compliance applicable to plant operations.
- Drive implementation and compliance of HSE / safety policies, risk controls, PPE requirements, incident investigations, and continuous improvement of workplace safety culture
Requirement :
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years and above of experience in manufacturing / production operations (Preferable food industry)
- At least 2–3 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial role.
- Hands-on experience in production, warehouse coordination, and maintenance follow-up preferred
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
