JOB TITLE: Specialist Network Development Executive
REPORTS TO: Business Development Manager / Head of Medical Affairs
JOB PURPOSE
The Specialist Network Development Executive is responsible for identifying, recruiting, onboarding, and managing relationships with medical specialists and healthcare providers to support the company's services in insurance claims assessments, medico-legal reporting, medical negligence reviews, and medical tourism. The role focuses on building a high-quality network of specialists across multiple disciplines while ensuring compliance, service excellence, and long-term engagement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Specialist Recruitment & Network Development
- Identify, engage, and recruit specialists across various medical disciplines.
- Expand the company's specialist network nationwide.
- Develop relationships with hospitals, specialist centres, and healthcare institutions.
- Source specialists for independent medical examinations (IMEs), disability assessments, medical negligence reviews, and medical tourism referrals.
- Negotiate professional fees, service arrangements, and collaboration agreements.
Specialist Onboarding & Credentialing
- Manage onboarding processes for newly appointed specialists.
- Verify professional qualifications, APC status, NSR registration, subspecialty credentials, and practice details.
- Collect and maintain CVs, practising certificates, and supporting documentation.
- Facilitate service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and onboarding documentation.
- Educate specialists on reporting requirements, quality standards, and turnaround expectations.
Medical Tourism Partnerships
- Establish partnerships with specialists and healthcare facilities suitable for international and local medical tourism referrals.
- Maintain updated information on specialist expertise, treatment offerings, and hospital facilities.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient referral pathways.
- Identify opportunities to expand specialist coverage in high-demand specialties.
Medical Negligence & Medico-Legal Services
- Recruit specialists qualified to provide independent expert opinions in medical negligence and medico-legal cases.
- Maintain a database of experts by specialty and subspecialty.
- Coordinate specialist availability for expert reviews, report preparation, and court attendance when required.
- Ensure specialists understand medico-legal reporting standards and expectations.
Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and specialists.
- Maintain regular communication with panel specialists and healthcare partners.
- Resolve operational issues and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Organize specialist engagement activities and educational sessions.
Quality & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor specialist responsiveness, report quality, turnaround times, and client feedback.
- Conduct periodic reviews of specialist performance.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Business Development Support
- Identify opportunities to expand specialist networks and service offerings.
- Support strategic initiatives related to healthcare partnerships and market expansion.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Operations, Legal, and Business Development teams.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure all specialist records and agreements are maintained accurately.
- Monitor credential expiry dates and renewal requirements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy requirements, and company policies.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Nursing, Biomedical Science, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare, insurance, medical affairs, provider relations, hospital administration, pharmaceutical industry, healthcare consulting, or business development.
- Experience working with medical specialists, hospitals, healthcare providers, or insurance companies is highly desirable.
- Experience in medico-legal services, medical tourism, or healthcare partnership development is an advantage.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Strong understanding of healthcare systems and specialist practice environments.
- Familiarity with insurance claims processes, disability assessments, medico-legal reporting, and medical negligence reviews.
- Excellent networking and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong negotiation and partnership development capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and specialist relationships simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
