Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Creating detailed schedules and coordinating various construction activities.
  • Identifying potential delays and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Establishing project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Overseeing change orders and assessing impact to completion milestone dates.
  • Assist and support all claims for extension of time.
  • Allocating resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
  • Coordinating the work of contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Assessing and reviewing adequate staffing levels and skill sets are available for each phase of the project.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Conducting regular site inspections to assess progress and identify potential issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Facilitating project meetings and ensuring alignment among team members
  • Overseeing the completion of all project activities and ensuring all extensions of time claims are accounted for.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • Shall have at least 8 years of work experience in the built industry and:
  • Completed at least 3 building/infrastructure projects
  • Completed at least 1 reclamation project
  • Experience in internships and project work will be considered.
  • Good knowledge of construction methodologies and construction sequencing.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders from local and overseas.
  • Effective stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, to understand, handle and resolve issues.
  • A proactive, user-oriented and curious mindset, with a desire to engage in continuous learning and improvement.
  • Able to work in Tuas Area, 5.5 days work week
