Requirements
- Currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology course or related
- Minimum 6 months internship
- Good communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Own transport
Responsibility
- Help develop, test, and improve new menu items, recipes, and food products for Central Kitchen and outlets.
- Carry out product testing, tasting, and recipe standardization to ensure good quality, taste, and consistency.
- Research food trends, ingredients, and customer preferences to support new product ideas and menu development.
- Support quality checks, including product testing, shelf-life checks, and compliance with food safety, Halal, and MESTI standards.
- Help prepare and update recipes, product details, SOPs, and records of R&D testing results.
- Assist with batch calculations, yield checks, and basic cost work for product and production planning.
- Work with Production, Purchasing, QA, and Operations teams on product testing, rollout, and improvements.
- Assist R&D Chef in visiting outlets to observe operations, gather feedback, check product consistency, and help implement new or improved menu items. (check out our website for outlet location)
