About Us:

We are a growing F&B group operating 3 restaurant-cum-bakery outlets in Kuala Lumpur, including our newest concept, Bricks & Butter at The Linc KL.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking passionate and experience pastry and bakery professionals to join our team. We welcome applications from candidates at all levels, from Junior Bakers to Senior Pastry Chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Pastry & Dessert Creation
- Create and execute a variety of high-quality pastries, cakes, desserts, breads, and bakery product that align with the brand's standards.

- Develop new recipes, seasonal offerings, and signature products that enhance customer experience and drive growth.

- Production of breads, viennoiseries, pastries, and other bakery products, ensuring quality, consistency and freshness.

2. Quality Standards & Consistency

- Ensure all product meet established standards for taste, presentation, freshness, and consistency across all outlets.

- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, quality control practices throughout the production process.

- Monitor inventory levels and minimize wastage through effective stock control and production planning.

3. Team Development & Culture

- Train, mentor, and support team members to continuously improve their technical skills, productivity, and product knowledge.

- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment built on respect, accountability and teamwork.

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and market developments to keep products relevant and competitive.

- Continuously evaluate existing products and processes, recommending improvements that elevate quality and quest satisfaction.

5. Leadership & Communication

- Lead by example, maintaining high standards of professionalism, discipline, and craftmanship within the team.

- Work closely with management and operations teams to align bakery and pastry offerings with business objectives and customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of dough fermentation, proofing, and bakery production planning.
  • Ability to manage daily bakery production schedules and ensure product availability, consistency and freshness.
  • Creative flair and passion for innovative pastry and bakery product development.
  • Strong expertise in pastries, cakes and plated desserts.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of kitchen management, portion control and cost management.
